Spa Policy
Welcome to The Chelsea Day Spa. We are a small boutique spa and during busy times space can be limited. In order to provide you and other clients with excellent customer service and access to appointments during peak times, we have a firm 24-hour cancellation policy.
Kindly review the booking and cancellation information below. Please note that by booking an appointment you are accepting the conditions of our cancellation policy. Gift Vouchers Purchased Online
- Vouchers will be dispatched by post - please allow 3-to-5 working days. Please allow 7 days for delivery during peak postal times
- No dispatch or delivery during UK bank holidays and weekends
- Please always check voucher validity prior to booking
- Vouchers can be bought in multiples as gifts or for yourself
- The vouchers can be used any day but is subject to availability
- To book a date with your voucher please call us on 020 7351 0911 or email us on info@thechelseadayspa.co.uk
- It is recommended that you book a date weeks in advance to get the appointment time you desire. All appointments are subject to availability
- You will need to bring your voucher on the day of your experience
- Cancellations less than 24 hours before the treatment are subject to the forfeiture of the entire voucher
- The voucher cannot be split into different appointment times or dates
- Voucher items are non transferrable
Online Access
While we endeavor to ensure that the website is normally available 24 hours a day, The Chelsea Day Spa shall not be liable if for any reason the website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
Access to the Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons by The Chelsea Day Spa’s control.
Your Obligations and Responsibilities
In the access or use of the website, you shall comply with the Terms and Conditions and the special warnings or instructions for access or use posted on this website. You shall act always in accordance with the law, custom and in good faith. You may not make any change or alteration to the website or any Content or services that may appear on this website and may not impair in any way the integrity or operation of the Website. Without limiting the generality of any other provision of these Terms and Conditions, if you default negligently or willfully in any of the obligations set forth in these Terms and Conditions (including our Privacy Policy), you shall be liable for all the losses and damages that this may cause The Chelsea Day Spa.
Complaints or Comments
Any complaint or comment regarding your treatments should be made in the first instance to the receptionist before you leave the spa so that it can be resolved at the time.
Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified in writing to The Spa Manager and sent to info@thechelseadayspa.co.uk or 2nd & 3rd Floor, 69A King’s Road. London SW3 4NX
Arriving
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your face or body treatment. This will give you plenty of time to check in, use the restroom, fill out any necessary forms and enjoy light refreshments at reception. Arriving late will rob you of precious treatment minutes as each session will be finished exactly on time as a courtesy to the next client.
Note: If your appointment is first thing in the morning, you don’t need to arrive early.
We fully understand that sometimes being late is outside of your control. We will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals (within 15 minutes after your appointment) by performing the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining. Unfortunately, arriving 15 minutes after the scheduled time of your appointment will result in full charges (equivalent deductions from gift certificates) without the opportunity to reschedule. If you have a gift voucher and do not show up for your treatment or cancel 24 hours before your treatment time, you will forfeit your voucher.
We recommend that you plan ahead for your visit to our spa. We’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have about our location, parking, dining options and etc.
Booking by phone - Appointments
When booking by phone, you might be asked to provide a valid credit card number to reserve your appointment. This will depend on the service being booked. Please note that no charges will be made to your credit card until your service is completed (unless you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or do not show up for your appointment). Upon completion, you’ll be able to pay for your services with your choice of Visa, MasterCard, Amex, debit or cash. We only accept American Express for services over £50. If you don’t have a credit card, you can pre-pay for your services in cash (24 hours in advance) to hold your reservation.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your appointment, please & call us at 020 73510911 or email us (info@thechelseadayspa.co.uk) at least 24 hours in advance. Since we turn away other clients to hold your reservation, any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result in full charges on your credit card (or the equivalent deduction from gift certificates).
Groups of 2 or more people require 48 hours cancellation notice. Absolutely no exceptions can be made to our cancellation policy because we often schedule and pay therapists to come in especially for your appointment.
Weekend & Peak Appointments - Booking & Cancellation Policy
When booking for weekend & peak appointments, you will be asked to pre-pay for your appointment. Please note charges will be made to your credit card immediately. If you cancel you appointment 24 hours before then the pre-payment will sit on your account as credit which you can use towards any futures services. However if you cancel less than 24 hours notice or do not show up for your appointment we will charge the FULL AMOUNT of the booking. Please make sure you call us or email us to cancel your appointment 24 hours before if you need to.
Refund Policy - Products
At The Chelsea Day Spa all our products are sold as brand new and for personal use only. We cannot give refunds on any products sold to due to personal hygiene and health and safety reasons.
Refund Policy - Services
At The Chelsea Day Spa all our treatments are carried out by qualified therapists. If you have had a spa treatment that you are unsatisfied with please contact the spa immediately. We cannot give refunds on any treatments but we will look into your concerns immediately.
Illness
We realize that sometimes a sudden illness can prevent you from giving 24 hours cancellation notice (48 hours for groups). In this instance, your credit card will be charged only 50% of your total service (equivalent deduction from a gift certificate). This money is used to compensate your therapist, who set aside her valuable time for your appointment.
Appointment Reminder by Text Message
If you booked your appointment by phone and gave us your mobile number, you will automatically receive a text reminder 24 hours in advance of your scheduled service(s). You will have the option to reschedule or cancel your appointment at that time. If we don’t receive a call to cancel or reschedule your appointment 24 hours in advance of your scheduled service(s), the services cannot be cancelled or rescheduled after that.
Noise
Our spa environment is one of tranquillity and relaxation. Please respect all spa guests’ right to privacy and serenity. Please maintain conversations at a considerate volume in all treatment areas.
Children
For health and safety reasons and in order to maintain a peaceful, relaxing environment for all of our clients we kindly ask that children are not brought into the spa.
Mobile Phones
For the respect of all spa guests’ tranquillity, cell phones are not permitted in the treatment areas. Please turn all mobile phones, ipods and pagers off.
Health Conditions
Please advise us of any health conditions, allergies, or injuries which could affect your service when making your spa reservation.
Massage and Body Treatments
Speak with the therapist directly about style and depth of pressure. You must be 18 or over to receive massage treatments.
Cleanliness
In keeping with our commitment to cleanliness, safety and hygiene, our equipment is sterilized and sanitized after every service and treatment.
Loss or Damage
We regret that we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage of personal articles. Please keep your personal belongings with you at all times. Coats, umbrellas and shopping bags must be left on the 2nd floor reception.
Payment
All major credit cards accepted.
Gratuity
Rates do not include gratuity. A cash gratuity is especially appreciated.
